COMPENSATION:

SUMMARY:
We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist / Settlements Coordinator for our Auction Settlements Department.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensures folders for each auction consignment are accurate and completed timely.
  • Prepares setup of consignment files accurately
  • Maintains and updates all consignor documentation
  • Files paperwork received from departments
  • Print and file Lot Listings and Prices Realized for each auction
  • Calculate Referral fees for each auction
  • Assists coordinators in attaining missing documents
  • Mail checks
  • Assists coordinators with getting wires ready
  • Create stop payment forms
  • Collect documents needed for Advances and follow up as needed
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in accounting or finance preferred
  • Experience working in an accounting department for a company with more than 500 employees and multiple business units is strongly preferred.
  • Must have a high school diploma; Completed Accounting College courses is a plus!

SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Must be highly proficient in basic Microsoft applications, specifically Excel, Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Highly proactive with a positive attitude
  • Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Individuals must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.
  • Must withstand long periods of sitting, looking at a computer monitor, and phone handling for approximately 3-8 hours daily. 
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
