COMPENSATION: Commensurate based on experience

SUMMARY: Reporting directly to the Director of Social Media Marketing, Heritage’s Pop Culture Content Manager will lead content creation and manage a multi-faceted, fast-paced marketing strategy across many platforms. 
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop and implement a social media marketing strategy that supports the Heritage’s evolving brand 

  • Maintain a calendar of engaging, original content, emphasizing growth on Meta’s platforms, TikTok, LinkedIn, X 

  • Video production skills from brainstorm to post-production 

  • Monitoring and analyzing the performance and impact of social media activities, using tools such as Google Analytics, Instagram and Facebook Insights, Twitter / X  

  • Maintain best social listening practices by following trends, keywords, and hashtags relevant to categories  

  • Moderate accounts thoughtfully by engaging in comments, direct messages, collab requests, tags, and DMs in a timely and respectful manner. 

  • Identifying and engaging with influencers, bloggers, and other relevant stakeholders, to build and leverage strategic partnerships and collaborations. 

  • Educating and advising the internal stakeholders and teams on the effective use of social media and providing training and support as needed. 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 

  • 3-5 years of experience in social media management in a digital marketing agency or large corporation. 

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful social media strategies that have expanded audience reach and engagement. 

  • Strong understanding of social media KPIs, analytics, and the ability to interpret data to drive strategic decisions and content creation. 

  • Proficient in social media management tools like Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Sprinklr, Buffer, Meltwater, or other, comparable tools 

  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
