Summary: We are seeking a Settlements Coordinator for our Auction Settlements Department
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Prepares setup of consignment files accurately
    • Scans agreements, enters rates into system, verifies consigner information, reviews file for completeness, etc.
  • Prepares auction settlements
    • Verifies consignor statements against contracts and prices realized documentation
    • Reviews consignor balances before payment is made
    • Meets settlement deadlines
    • Ensures consignors are paid timely and accurately
  • Communicates effectively with high level executives.
  • Maintains and updates all consignor documentation
  • Settles multiple auction and venues. Must be able to multi-task and maintain auctions at various stages of completion simultaneously
  • Assists consignors with settlement questions
  • Must have an associate degree in a business field, preferably Accounting; Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum 2+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable or Accounting.
  • Must be highly proficient in basic Microsoft applications, specifically Excel, have excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written, keen attention to detail, and be highly proactive with a positive attitude.  Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred.
